THREE POEMS

I. BLUE

the void, you said

I glide along the deserted boulevards

a Chinese lady walks up, a mask on her face

her body forms an angle with the Earth like a motionless dance

glide

become

think

swim in the void

seventeen yellowing, twisted palm trees herald the end of summer

a thousand times the architecture the blue sky the line, what?

summer in your eyes

– summer in the blue

eyes

of the Night.

II. DESCOLA

Paris

seagulls, garden – crossed

crossed?

bicycles abandoned on the esplanade

on the gravel, no one

garden, birds, invisible borders

invisible beings,

everywhere.

III. THE EYE

I try to draw it

it’s dark – with secret sparkles

like an empire.
